St Peter’s CE Infant School and Nursery
Week beg: 7th September 2009
Welcome back we hope you all had a good summer. The children have all settled into school well and are enjoying their new classes.
There have been a number of changes to the school staff and I would like to welcome them to school:
Mrs Jolley: Mrs Jolley is head teacher at the
Junior
School
and is working, as Headteacher, at the Infant School for 2 days a week. She will work with me to develop the liaison between the Infant and
Junior
School
and prepare for the new school in September 2010.
Ms. Clyne: Ms Clyne is the new Deputy Headteacher and is looking forward to working with everybody. She will be developing Literacy and Inclusion throughout the school.
Mrs Baron: has now been employed for the next year to continue to support us with our Nurture Room and other support in the classrooms.
Mrs Jones: Miss Brunton was married in summer and is now called Mrs Jones. We all wish her and her new husband well in their married life.
Stars and Moons:
As we start the new term the children will start to collect their stars again. We were very proud of the children last term as we had our first Gold Awards. Let’s see how many children can achieve their Gold Award this term. If you would like some more information on the Reward System please don’t hesitate in contacting myself or Mrs Fletcher.
FUTURE DIARY DATES:
Reception full time:
Reception children will begin full time on the 14th September. Parents will need to bring the children to the back playground for 8.45am.
